Parking and traffic issues come up at every community catch-up I run, and for good reason: bad driving and parking puts lives at risk and makes it harder for disabled people and parents with buggies to get around properly.
The local Council is responsible for dealing with most traffic issues, and I regularly meet with local Council leaders and the police. I’m happy to help ask about issues that you have raised with them.
My team and I have created an “action pack” that will help you take action on parking and road conditions. This will include instructions on how to best petition the Council to make your case for the improvement or change you would like to see.
I’m also a trained Speedwatch operator and am happy to help you set up Community Speedwatch groups in your area to deter speeding.
